Is there a bigger release in the boot world than when Nike announce they are releasing a new Vapor? Again the hype surrounding this latest 9th installment, or the Mercurial Vapor IX, caused a frenzy of action online and not even the wildly colorful debut releases deferred attention away. And with the likes of CR7, Ibrahimovich and Theo Walcott, attention has been fully focused on the new release. I've had a pair for the past few weeks and have been putting them through their paces to see just how much difference there is with the new dimpled synthetic upper! When I started blogging, there were only a few boots I would have to write about each month but now there seems to be a new boot released daily and to be quite frank I find it difficult at time to keep up! As a result, here is a slightly more expanded version with details on where each company currently sits and what the future holds for each.

What's With This Colorway? There seems to be a craze with Yellow releases of late and Adidas has added another option in the form of this Predator LZ. But where others stick with moderate shades of detailing, Adidas incorporate and tasty splash of Vivid Pink. All-in-all, there is a lot of Vivid going on with this one. The fade from Yellow to Black on the side of the boot creates an interesting shade of Gold. Personally, I'm going to stick it out with other recent colorway releases over this flamboyant effort!

So, what makes the new Predator so different from previous editions? On this release, you get 5 different areas where technology has been employed, producing 5 different levels of performance. Rather than being a Power boot, this latest release is more of a hybrid that offers players more control right throughout their game.

What's With This Colorway? We now have another pretty iconic colorway to choose from in the F50 adiZero range. The mix of Dark Blue/Vivid Pink gives a very Lionel Messi look to it, although it is Bastian Schweinsteiger who has been the one to break news on their release. It is the splash of Vivid Pink that gives it a unique look, something I am sure a lot of players will actually like since it creates a prominent dimension to the boot.

This is the fourth colorway we have seen in the latest version of the F50 adiZero. The biggest difference between this release and previous adiZeros is a 3D textured pattern on the SprintSkin upper, designed to elevate performance in all weather conditions.

With everything that has been going on over the past few weeks, I have actually skipped past highlighting several new colorway releases – trust me when I say that things have been extra busy. Yes, I will admit it – this is the lazy approach to updating you on the rest of the colorways that have been released.
