Sunderland manager Ricky Sbragia has been left unimpressed by Tottenham Hotspurs pursuit of Trinidad & Tobago international Kenwyne Jones. Jones has been a huge hit in his two years of Premier League football. Last season Jones bagged 7 goals and 10 assists. This season started off a little indifferent as Jones suffered from injury. It has only been since Roy Keane’s exit from Sunderland that Jones has hit form again, scoring four goals in the last month. Sbragia was not happy after Spurs allegedly offered $10 million and Darren Bent for a player they rate over over $20 million. His biggest fear is that all the talk will unsettle the Sunderland Striker, even if he doesn’t leave Sunderland.
Jones currently wears Puma V1.08 Trick Boot. The V1.08 Trick was seen exclusively in the Euro 2008 championships. Combined for a mixture of speed, power, touch. The upper is a thin, lightweight textile that has been reinforced by a thin layer of microfiber for improved durability without sacrificing touch. Bottom line; these cleats have been created with one thing in mind – to get you to the ball even faster! One of the best things about these cleats is the fact that they are only 7.6oz, extremely light. In terms of sizing, the V1.08 runs 1/2 size small and narrow. We recommend ordering 1/2 size larger than normal for the best fit. Check out the full Puma V1.08 range here.
