Puma FUTURE 5.1 NYC x Eight by Eight Released

PUMA has teamed up with New York based soccer magazine Eight by Eight to create an absolutely eclectic special edition boot release. It is the Puma FUTURE 5.1 that features a design drawing inspiration from New York City life, with various design elements found right across the boots surface.

The right and left shoes feature individual patterns , each of them together help illustrate the hustle and grind mentality, fast paced lifestyle, and pure chaos of the city. Perhaps the most eye-catching detail is, well, an eye on the heel. The other heel features a rat, representing the gritty underbelly of New York. Light streaks can be found along the sides of the shoes and help accentuate the speed of city life and creative soccer players.

Flip the shoes over and you’ll find more bold patterns. Lightning bolts, checkers, and zig-zags all flow through the outsoles and back onto the shoe. These are loud and unapologetic, just like NYC.
