It is a boot we have talked about before, the laceless adidas Predator 19.3. We try to profile lower tier boots from time to time, but what makes these worth an extra shout-out is the fact that they are the first laceless boot that retails for under $100. And adidas has dropped the latest colorway in a crisp white and solar blue.
Given the huge appeal of laceless technology, providing players with an option to experience what no laces is all about, at a very competitive price is pretty incredible! A Primemesh synthetic upper molds to your foot while a textured mesh vamp enhances touch on the ball. The textured mesh has a coated treatment so you can control the ball in all weather conditions. Add to that a sock-like collar and you get a seamless fit from leg to foot.
This Predator 19.3 is not anywhere near as tech advanced as the Predator 19+ so lower expectations on what you are actually getting. There is no defined tiered forefoot and the collar won’t actually be as formed around the ankle as the 19+. But they will stay on your feet comfortably and if you have someone that wants to experience laceless for the first time on a budget, they are worth consideration!
