adidas has dropped Lionel Messi latest signature version of the Nemeziz 18.1 that joins forces with everything released to date in the Initiator Pack. Of course, being Messi, he gets his own flashy colorway designed to stand out as much as Messi does on the pitch! These are pretty bold.
Not only is the design unique, but adidas has got all creative with the actual colorway name, listing them as an Active Red/Silver Metallic/Football Blue. Where the rest of the Initiator Pack sticks with a winter themed white, black and red color palette, Messi gets a much more flamboyant look. For me, this design evokes memories of the Prime Blue/Core Energy F50 adiZero release from back in 2012, a boot that he scored a lot of goals while wearing! Of course, the addition of yellow on one half of the heel and a silver across key detailing features adds to the dynamic nature of this 2018 release.
