Released with the tagline “leather and laceless”, Umbro has introduced their latest tech advanced boot in the form of Medusae 3 Elite. With are talking next level innovation with the double diamond combining speed with ultimate touch.
The real nice aspect to this release is that Umbro hasn’t messed with their DNA, sticking to a more traditional colorway and keeping a super soft leather upper in play. Everything about the boot looks modern, streamlined and ready for game action. Alongside the one-piece upper, the boot also features an engineered knitted collar which provides a responsive fit and easy foot entry, plus stability in the heel area once the game kicks off. Additional padded zones in the collar and grip pods in the heel offer an extra layer of security and comfort.

On the soleplate, an upgrade sees the Sprint+ sole (previously only seen on the Velocita 4) fitted into place. This lightweight Pebax outsole uses stud shape and positioning to maximize grip, traction and comfort, based on analysis of peak pressure points and player movement.
This is, however, a limited edition release with only 24 pairs released in each country as a nod to Umbro’s foundation in 1924. They are set for release on October 19th.
