Puma X Arsenal Third Kit + Presentation Case

Puma Step Out Kit Launch
A few weeks back, Puma created history by dropping a wide range of new jerseys in what was the World’s biggest kit launch event ever. In total, 23 globally licensed club Third and Away kits were introduced under the same story of “Step Out” across 7 time zones.

One of those kits belongs to Arsenal FC; dark and fearsome in color, technically advanced, premium in materials, and features unique detailing inspired by the clubs fans, so home pride is with them wherever they go. We were one of the first to receive the new kit on day of release, via a super cool media presentation case. I’m not an Arsenal fan, but this kit really is awesome. Puma has created a great looking design and the feel/fit is pretty spot on. The material is super soft, so it feels great against your body, while the replica version is looser and much more visually appealing than the skin-tight game version you see pro players wearing.

The media presentation case was divided into two separate sections. Up top the replica version of the third kit was carefully placed inside, while a pair of Ignite Limitless NETFIT sneakers were tucked in a slide-out tray underneath.

If you haven’t seen these sneakers before, they are pretty rad. The upper is equipped with a new NETFIT system, where you can actually customize the design and layout of the lacing system for a completely customized fit. A base layer that is comprised of a two-tone neoprene offers material depth under the NET upper. The ankle is obviously a lot higher than conventional releases, as Puma looks to cushion the Achilles and add extra support as you run at pace. A full-length IGNITE Foam drop-in ensures premium cushioning underfoot and energy return as you run the streets.

Unfortunately, this actual case is not available for retail or to the public. You can, however, currently purchase both products separately.

  • The kit retails for $89.99 and is available from soccer.com.
  • The sneakers retail for $100 and are available in multiple colorways from puma.com.

In case you were wondering, some of the other clubs across the globe that were involved in the kit launch event included Borussia Dortmund, Chivas, Cerezo Osaka, FC Krasnodar, Mamelodi Sundowns, Girondins de Bordeaux, and many more in between. Each club launched their kits as the sun went down on their respective countries! What do you guys think of the new Arsenal third kit?
