Fresh off their market introduction, Nike has treated the brand new Hypervenom 3 series to a Tech Craft coating. Both versions of Hypervenom Phantom – the high-cut version with Flyknit Dynamic Fit Collar and regular low-cut version – feature embossed Alegria leather right across the forefoot for enhanced touch. Nike All Conditions Control (ACC) technology is also added for improved ball control in both dry and wet conditions.
The look is pretty sleek, with Nike using a primary Black upper with the unusual green shade of Sequoia up through the dynamic fit collar. In order to create a little extra pop, Electric Green is added in key detail areas, like the signature swoosh and lace eyelets.
Placing a leather across one of the most pliable materials in the game (Flyknit) is going to create an incredibly unique type of performance. When you factor in the PORON foam pods that sit right across the strikezone, touch and control is going to be completely modified. Right now, I’m in the midst of finalizing a review for the original Hypervenom 3 release, and I’ll tell you now that the experience with them has been top class. So, obviously, it will be a necessity to test Tech Craft just to see what sort of comparison there is. Stay tuned for both reviews!
