What to expect
Just before Christmas, a pair arrived in and they have quickly become my go to shoe. Out of the box, you do face the challenge of slipping your feet in through the PureCut ankle lining, it is a tough squeeze! You will end up using the pull tabs every time you put the on as the tight fit actually persists through wear. In reality, that can be seen as a positive because you always get the reliability of a snug fit without overstretch. When on, they are a dream, so incredibly comfortable. The Primeknit upper is super soft and offers plenty of breathability right through the forefoot. Because of its design, you almost feel like you are wearing slippers. That doubles up when you consider adidas has included their tried and trusted Boost technology through the outsole. It provides responsive cushioning and plenty of energy return as you wear them, something you can definitely notice as you wear them.
In terms of design, this Black/Red/White design is on fire! Loving the simplicity of the colorway, especially since it takes on the iconic adidas palette. Currently, you can choose between these and a Core Black version. Both retail for $129.99.
