Did You Know Diego Maradona Wore Nike Mercurial Vapor Boots?

It might have been a friendly and Maradona might have been 10 stone overweight at the time, but we have proof that the Argentinian legend actually wore a pair of Nike Mercurial Vapor in a 2011 charity match. Given the fact he continually wore classic, heritage inspired boots through his career, the part-time switch to the Vapor seems slightly out of place.

Then again, maybe he just wanted a boot that would make him faster!?!
