Another week and another fresh set of boot colorways released from the folks at Adidas. This time around, they have mellowed things down and introduced a new Pitch Black pack. Each boot is designed with darker shading and is intended to offer more traditional players a better selection of boots to choose from. There is one crossover colorway from the recently released Tribal pack, but it blends quite delightfully with what this pack has on offer.
Featuring the 11Pro, Nitrocharge 1.0, Predator Instinct and adiZero F50 this exclusive collection is perfect for players that want to be deadly in the dark. Below is a short breakdown on what can be expected from each.

There is an air of sophistication about this edition of the 11Pro, even though it features a familiar look to what we have seen thus far in the range. To create a different appearance, a blast of cool blue is added through the heel and along the inner lining. For those that like a more traditional boot with traditional stitching and less technology, the Taurus Leather clad 11Pro is a quality option. This is a boot with high durability, low water uptake and a glove-like fit to keep you comfortable – all for a pretty decent price. Check the review for more details on performance.
Available for $164.99.
The one colorway that has carried over from the Tribal Pack is the one seen on the Nitrocharge 1.0. The Black/Running White/Neon Orange is really in your face, with the almost gold like paneling really standing out against the sharp black upper. This is not your conventional blackout release, but when you compare it the overall nature of the Pitch Black Pack, it seems to fit in very well. In terms of performance, the Nitrocharge is specifically labelled as a midfielder generals boot (the “Engine”), offering players additional support through quick lateral movements, providing additional energy release through play.
Available for $199.99.
The “almost” colorway that brings us the closest look to a blackout we have seen in the Predator Instinct range to date. This one comes in a Black/Running White/Neon Orange and creates a very desirable option for players with traditional standards. The panel detailing on this boot is much less prominent than it was on the Battle Pack version, and I have a feeling that this will offer a much stronger appeal to players. For those interested in understanding what the boots have to offer, make sure to check out the Instinct review.
Available for $219.99.
One of the best looks we have seen to date in the adiZero F50 series has to be this Black/Running White/Infrared. The featured design on this speed inspired boot offers a very seriously dangerous appearance, set to cause havoc in the attacking half of the pitch. At 5.4oz, these boots are all about speed as we found out through testing. The mix of a Hybridtouch upper with DribbleTex across the forefoot makes them a pretty ideal boot for players who want to take defenders on.
Available for $219.99.
Watch out for more of the Pitch Black pack through preseason and into the new 2014/15 campaign. If you need something to compare these boots, make sure to reference the Winter Black Pack series that was released last December!
