FC247 Brazilian Inspired Collection

Brazil Bomba2

This is a release which kind of slipped by the way side, but the folks in the small sided footy department at Nike have been busy recently. Fresh off the release of the Radioactive collection, another new FC247 collection has hit the market, and this one is inspired by Brazil the hosts of this summer’s World Cup. While the base colour for the new collection is a classy looking grey, which in itself doesn’t come across as being distinctly Brazilian, fear not, because all three boots definitely do get treated to a full Brazilian.

Nike Bomba Finale II

Easily the most “serious” boot of the FC247 series, and by that I mean the boot which will be most likely to see action on the outdoor turf pitches which are becoming more and more the norm. The styling is arguably the most subtle of the three editions as well. The Nikeskin and ACC teamed upper is a combination of grey and black, and features a mix of “Atomic Orange” laces and swoosh, and smidgen of “Volt” on the heel of the boot.  The Brazilianification of the boot is found on the outer heel, where the “NIKE” has been given  a smashing coat of Brzilian inspired street art. You can find the Brazil themed Bomba Finale over at either Soccer.com or WeGotSoccer.com retailing at $114.99.

Nike Elastico Finale II

There’s a passing resemblance to the Brazil inspired Lotto Solista in the Elastico Finale here. A platinum coloured boot could be considered a tad ostentatious, but when teamed with the street art graphics it suits them down to the ground. There’s also an added pop with the Volt laces and the Posion Green Nike swoosh, for me this edition is the nicest looking Elastico of the FC247 editions. If you fancy yourself a pair of the new Elastico’s Soccer.com has your hookup and they roll in at $119.99.

Nike Lunar Gato II: Another FC247 collection and another standout release for the Lunar Gato. Combining the dark grey hyperfuse mesh rear pannel, which also features Brazilian street art stylings, with the wolf grey (silver) leather forefoot, you have a release which I personally would wear as an everyday shoe. Effectively the Swiss Army knife of the FC247 collection the Lunar Gato II is at home on the sala court, the showbol carpet, or in the street. You’ll find the Lunar Gato II available at soccer.com or wegotsoccer.com with prices a hair over $100.
