Warrior Superheat Released in Red/Yellow Colorway

Warrior Superheat S-Lite Detailing

Warrior Sports is back with their second installment of the new Superheat S-Lite series, and there is something oddly familiar about the look. As with the initial release that we broke details of earlier this week, this McDonalds style design is the latest boot to tackle the lightweight speed boot market. At 6.3oz, it is a boot trimmed down and ready for players who want something different yet fully primed with the right technology.

Through their initial release campaign, Warrior introduced us to videos and images of high speed cars and planes, then there was a lot of fire and the tagline “Can you handle the heat?” I was surprised with the colorway of the first edition, with this version making a lot more sense. There is a familiar look about them though, with the initial Adidas F50 adiZero coming to mind when you see them. But, in this instance it makes more sense when you read about the final product. Fusing high tech innovation with unadulterated pace, the boot is designed for the game changer, the one who burns off opponents at will. And visually, you do get that feeling!

As it pretty typical with Warrior, they have also introduced us to a whole new dictionary of terminology associated with the new boot, so in order to figure it all out, here is your cheat sheet of what to expect from the boot:

  • Revolutionary TRI-FUSION bonded skin for limitless touch and speed.
  • ORGANITOUCH super-thin outer film for natural feel and close control.
  • NEOWEB mesh base layer with DWR water resistant treatment for lightweight infinite comfort.
  • NANOCRADLE 2nd layer balances efficient support with optimum agility.
  • Superlight TRI FUSION tongue for perfect feel and fit.
  • Membrane HEEL SHIELD for unseen support and protection.
  • SLIPSTREAM lacing system for optimum fit and comfort.
  • FG WAR PLATE – Dual Injected Clawtech blades provide traction and acceleration on dry and firm surfaces.

In terms of weight, the Superheat will sit somewhere around the 6.3oz mark, which makes them one of the lightest boots currently on the market. You can tell from looking at them that they are going to feel feather-light, with mesh in the upper and a see-through soleplate giving that appearance.

The Superheat is currently available to buy from Soccer.com for $179.99.
