You have to love Adidas approach with this one, offering a bold and pretty tantalizing new colorway in the Predator LZ range, as a US EXCLUSIVE, right after the MLS all-star break. And this is no ordinary looking boot. There is a fine balancing act that needs to be tackled when finding the right combination of colors on a new release and here is an example of how you get it right. The mix of a Vivid Red with Yellow detailing is very classy, and the use of Black on the signature three stripe makes for an even cleaner look.
US fans rejoice – these boots are currently available to buy from WorldSoccerShop.
The key to this release for me is the consistent coloring through the strike zone. I much prefer the use of a continuous red than a combo of colors (as seen on the Camouflage releases). The use of a Yellow across the outer lethal zones and on through the soleplate provides a look we haven’t really seen before. I’d imagine most teams that wear red will be pretty happy to match the boots with their kit. Liverpool have the Yellow Liverbird, so maybe we will see Stevie Gerard sporting a pair at some point.

This is the second installment of the current Predator LZ range. It might be slightly confusing, but even with the redesigned boot we are still sitting on the initial Predator LZ name. On this edition, the Lethal Zones have been modified and reconfigured to offer a more efficient level of control on the ball.

This colorway has to be the best one so far (2nd place would be the classic white)
