Brazilian superstar Alexandre Pato is the latest player to release an image of and be pictured wearing his Nike Mercurial Vapor IX. He might not be playing on the European stage anymore (he plays with Corinthians) but it is obvious that he is still a key player in Nike’s player arsenal. We are on the verge of seeing the speed boot released, and the hype has been continually building since the start of the year.
I am personally liking the textured design of the upper, although the colorway is pretty bold.

Bold colorway for sure, but these boots look really nice. Slim, quick, and interesting, everything a mercurial stands for. The upper looks a tad bit stiff though.
