We here at SoccerCleats101 know how important it is to get a great soccer cleat for the most value. This is especially true if you are on a budget and don’t want to spend a few hundred dollars for one pair. There are just a lot of cleats out there that really are not worth the money, and you end up buying the brand name. With that being said, we decided to bring you what, in our opinion, are the top 5 value for money soccer cleats currently on the market.
No. 5 – Diadora Maracana $79 to $85
Diadora have a reputation for creating well designed and comfortable soccer cleats. With that being said, the Maracana’s have both features and more! In our review, we pointed out the fact that it is vale for money and we still stand by that. Created using soft Kangaroo leather, weighing in at 9.4oz and a double action shock absorbing system that helps eliminate unnecessary vibrations leave us with no doubt that these cleats are worth checking out!
No. 4 – Under Armour Dominate FG $99
Over the past year, Under Armour have made a strong attempt to break into the soccer cleats market, and the fact that they have managed to get into our top 5 value for money soccer cleats list shows they are doing something right! The Under Armour Dominate offers a water intelligent full grain leather and UA Modular Protection Zone (MPZ) that helps support the highly injured metatarsal area of the foot. For under $100 these cleats turn out to be a bargain!
No. 3 – Umbro Speciali Trophy $89 to $99
All the cleats in the Umbro Speciali range are value for money, but there is one version of the cleat that we believe has more bang for its buck: the Umbro Speciali Trophy. The Trophy plays little brother to the Umbro Speciali Statement, but it still has a lot of qualities that make it value for under $100. They are created using a combination full-grain and synthetic leather, while they weigh in at a very impressive 9.2oz. But the main reason it comes in at number 3 is because of how easy it is to break these babies in! And that makes any cleat value for money!
No. 2 – Nike Mercurial Talaria $69 to $99
The Talaria was extremely close to making it into top spot on this list! First off, you are getting a cleat that has the look of one of the most popular cleats on the market (Nike Mercurial Superfly) for 1/3rd the price. Also, because they are from Nike, you get to choose from a wide variety of colors. Always great to have choices! They weigh in at 9.2oz and are made of Lightweight Teijin synthetic leather for supreme ball feel. But the best thing about these cleats is the fact that not many people go for so, they end up being priced down even more on the market!
No. 1 – Adidas adiPURE II $130 to $140
Ok, so these cleats are by far the most expensive cleats on the list. But, what you get from the adiPURE exceeds what you get from any other cleat currently on the market! Hand-crafted, with a super soft kangaroo leather upper, the adiPURE breaks in really easily and are designed with comfort in mind. They weigh in at 9.2oz, and are suitable for any position on the soccer pitch. Another great aspect to these cleats is their insoles…you have to try them to understand! Even though you are paying a little more than the price of other cleats on this list, what you get in return is a great cleat that will last the season!
