Every so often we like to throw out one of the latest women’s colorways to see what the reaction is like and if they could potentially double as a men’s version. The latest offering in the women’s Adidas F50 adiZero range comes in this pretty blinging Metallic Silver/Bright Pink/Black. We have seen over the past 2 years how Pink colorways can be very popular with male players, and there is enough of a subtle Pink blend on this one to appeal to that same audience.
The big difference between the male and female version of the adiZero lies in the soleplate and how the upper to soleplate matches up. Feedback from players who have ordered female boots in the past has been positive, especially from players who prefer a slim fitting shoe. I haven’t gone as far as testing them myself, so I can’t offer precise comments on fit or shape.
There is no doubting this lightweight release is designed for speed. And adding the concept of performance tracking technology makes these a very appealing release for aspiring players. The miCoach chip sits very comfortably in a cavity of the boot, under the insole, and you will have no idea it is there through wear.
This release comes in at the same price point as men’s versions, retailing for $209.99.
So what are your thoughts on this colorway and would you wear a pair?
You should do a review of some women’s cleats and do a comparison of the differences between them and men’s cleats! Preferably popular cleats such as Vapors or Adizeros.
When I first saw these I actually thought they were a mens pair and though I would like to get a pair.
