Adidas has gone modern Captain America with their latest colorway release in the F50 adiZero range. It is set to be one of the more popular colorway releases to date in the advanced speed-boot series, and I have no doubt that this White/Core Energy/Black will make for a pretty awesome look with the likes of the USMNT kit.
One aspect of this boot that I am a fan of is the use of a leather upper, which is a Galeo full-grain. It makes for a more responsive and natural touch on the ball, not quite what you get from a K-leather but in my opinion it offers better performance than the synthetic version.
At 6oz, there is no doubting this lightweight release is designed for speed. And adding the concept of performance tracking makes these a very appealing release. The miCoach chip does a good job of capturing your data through play and the benefits of seeing how you performed can help you improve your game. It sits very comfortably in the cavity of the boot and you will have no idea it is there through wear.
Something important to note is that this is just the boot – if you want to include miCoach tracking system, you need to purchase a sensor separately or look for a package deal. The leather version of the F50 adiZero comes in at around $210, while the miCoach chip can be purchased separately for $70.
AMAZING!!
