I have been waiting to get my hands on these for a few weeks now, but finally the Adidas adiPure 11Pro has arrived for review! The newest heritage boot from Adidas features a Taurus leather upper, a ton of modifications and it comes in at a lightweight 8.2oz – the lightest adiPure ever released.
The pictured version is officially listed as a Black/White/Slime colorway, which is actually seen to be the more traditional style release in the series!
A few weeks back, we featured a comprehensive, in-depth breakdown on what the new adiPure has to offer. You are getting a completely redesigned upper, the option to use miCoach technology, a soleplate designed for additional flexibility, conical studs and an overall lighter weight.
Opinions have been mixed on the new release with some questioning why Adidas has strayed away from the more old-school, traditional boot that offered one of the highest levels of consistency in the game. With the changing climate of the market, I am sure Adidas sought to move progressively forward, ensuring they have the most advanced “heritage” release available for players, before anyone else. The upper on the pair I received feels slightly stiff, which I am hoping is hoping that will dispel after a session or two. The midfoot definitely feels like it has much more support than previous versions.
Stay tuned for a full breakdown and review in the next few weeks – until then, enjoy the images. For those looking to pick up a pair, they are retailing for $134.99 and are available at WeGotSoccer.
Loving them already
Curious about stud pressure in this new sprintframe revision
WOW, I may have to change my name to ADIPURE FAN!!! from Adizero Fan!!!
Golstore didn't like them, i'm not to sure, but they certainly look good, although i would have gone for the white colourway.
The stud color is different from that of the original pictures.
I read online somewhere that Adidas were in the process of releasing a K-Leather version of these. That would certainly be a good idea, since there are so many stubborn retards out there who will only get K-Leather. Adidas has to have some kind of reason for switching it to Taurus leather.
If you were a regular reader, you'd have known they already released. Can be found on soccer.com: http://www.soccercleats101.com/2012/01/13/adidas-…
the ones that will come out for the euros will be k leather because so many people got mad
adidas made them taurus because taurus is cheaper to process/make
I would consider trying out the SL version of these that you can get in K-leather if the new sole plate was the same because of the stud pressure.
I might get these instead of the sl version… Its $100 less and just 8.2 oz (practically as light as the Vapor VII) What do you guys think? Is the sl version still worth buying???
it depends on your personal needs, what position do you play? B/C if your a player who gets alot of tackles, the extra weight is extra padding/protection. and they are 100 dollars cheaper.. but my personal fav. is the sl for the kangaroo upper, but i would still buy these for 100 dollars less, also consider the new umbro speciali 3, also light weight 9.2 oz but even more protective and kangaro vamp
I am an attacking mid/wing forward
if your going for 200$ range, maby consider puma king sl 7.9oz , my king 86 mexico finale are the best boots for shooting and comfort, im a power striker who needs a boot with a little more weight and protection, but lighter may be better for and outside player. in the end no one can tell you whats best for you
Why were the studs changed from the original pictures? They looked much classier in pictures instead of just one colour.
Looking forward to the review. It will be nice to see how these stack up not only compared to the previous adiPures but also to the adipower predators. Since they now feature the same leather, and a very similar weight.
Do these fit similar in width to the adipower preator?
Dear,Brain
Hey I was wondering if someone with a wide foot could get these and still get a good comfortable fit
Sorry about spelling your name wrong its late
Hey Cody,
From the review:
"Size wise, there is not too much variance compared to previous adiPure releases. The boot is built on a new soleplate, but it offers the same shape and length. They are true to size, with a medium-wide fit through the forefoot."
