The latest boot to arrive for review is the very intriguing Adidas adiPower Predator SL in the Black/Electricity/Sharp Blue colorway. I have been waiting a while for these to arrive and am interested to see how the 7oz boots hold up – especially in comparison to the regular adiPower. They were officially released in late June, although at that point there was confusion on whether they were called the Kinetic or Predator!
The first thing that caught my eye with these is the Nubuck touch heel lining, which offers a very, very unique feel. From trying them on today, they seem to run slightly long so there is no concerns about them being too tight starting out – very unique for a lightweight boot! And there is just something about the look of these boots that remind me of neon signs at night, hmmmmm.
