Latest Nike Superfly III Released in Granite

Nike are releasing a full range of new colorways right between the Gold Cup and Copa America. This latest Nike Superfly III release comes in a Granite/Imperial Purple/White/Solar Red colorway that really offers mixed emotions – the Granite upper seems very bland, whereas the Solar Red detailing adds an appealing splash of color.

The release actually has a slightly familiar look to last years World Cup Elite series release, which came in a Mach Purple and Total Orange colorway. The upper on that release was slightly brighter than on these. I am not completely sold on the look, with the almost gray upper seemingly slightly off in my opinion. But, I have a feeling this is a colorway that will look completely different in game, so we will have to wait and see how they look in action.

There are aspects to the Superfly III that need to be considered before you decide to fork out big money for a pair. Again, they come in at the $399 mark. The break-in period turns out to be tough with the soleplate offering a stiff feel to begin, while you also need to be aware that the effects of the technology included are not going to directly noticeable when you wear them in game (Flywire and adjustable studs). During testing, I liked how the Superfly III performed. They offer a well-protected, lightweight feel and are effective on the ball.
