We get a new release to end the year from adidas, as they introduce us to the next generation in the COPA series. Part of the Limited Collection, this COPA Pure is a special edition teaser release that gives us a first look at what will be the replacement for the COPA Sense.
Whats immediately evident is that adidas has a clear direction with this one, creating a very classy look that is sure to lure in traditional fans. Who doesn’t love a stealth black leather upper with iconic white 3-stripe and gold detailing! It is also worth noting that there is no k-leather on this one, instead there is a shift to a Fusionskin leather. Here is the US we are being treated to an intro SG version, perfect for winter and wet weather fields.
Declan Rice is the key player wearing the COPA Pure, he actually debuted them at the World Cup and will continue to wear them as he returns to action with West Ham. Again, this is an attempt by adidas to showcase their target audience, no nonsense midfielders who work for an entire 90 minutes while trying to be a creative force going forward. We also expect a full release with additional colorways in early 2023.
