Nike has dropped a new limited edition pair of Phantom GT2 that features an ultraviolet colorway. Well, not exactly, considering UV waves are invisible to the human eye. Instead, the colors are intended to be brighter and fully vibrant, so ultraviolet is sort of “purpler-than-purple” light or “beyond violet” light.
Angles and lines intersect with color blocks to create a very unmistakable look on field. Built for the game’s most creative playmakers, the Phantom GT is one of the most data-driven boots Nike has ever created. Based on years of Nike lab research, the Generative Texture (where the ‘GT’ comes from) across the upper provides precise touch and control when shooting, passing and dribbling.
There is two versions available, with Nike providing a regular ankle cut and a DF (dynamic fit) cut like the pictured version.
Both pairs can be found right now at SOCCER.com.
