Nike are kicking off preseason with a wildly colorway new pack that is intended to set the tone – welcome in the Motivation Pack.
All signature boot silos including the Tiempo Legend 9, the Mercurial Superfly 8, the Mercurial Vapor 14, the Phantom GT2 DF FG, and the Phantom GT2, are carefully designed to support players through touch, speed, and skill.
Officially the third colorway available in the Tiempo Legend 9 series, this latest colorway offers players a classic look with some modern detailing. Total comfort and control is what the Tiempo Legend range has always been known for. This version features a redesigned plate and refined upper that combine to help reduce the boot’s weight down to just 7.3 oz.
This pack also offers another prime example of the direction Nike is taking design and visual cues. Take for example the Phantom GT and the dynamic pattern design across the forefoot. Angles and lines intersect with color blocks to create a very unmistakable look on field. Built for the game’s most creative playmakers, the Phantom GT is one of the most data-driven boots Nike has ever created. Based on years of Nike lab research, the Generative Texture (where the ‘GT’ comes from) across the upper provides precise touch and control when shooting, passing and dribbling.
In similar fashion, the Mercurial offers a transparent look through the upper layer, allowing for colors and design elements on the inner layer to shone through. And how about that iconic highlighter yellow colorway – what a way to really compliment lightning speed and pace on pitch!
Given that this is the first pack released by team Swoosh for the 2021/22 season, it sets a real statement of intent. Pretty awesome options to have as you head back to soccer action.
