There has been a lot of talk about the adidas Memory Lane pack over the past few days, with the energy of a F50 adizero remake sending boot fans into overdrive. One version that has received a lot of attention is the Chameleon and Crazylight combo created exclusively by the team at Unisport.
Even though the 400 limited edition pairs have already sold out, we wanted to talk an up close look at what they have on offer. And what better way to take a look at them that by pics from their key creators, Jay Mike, as well as his quote on the process that went into their birth. When you are trying to create your own visual story on a remake, this is about as good as it gets!
“Yes, we only went and did it – Chameleon Purple F50 adizero with a twist of Crazylight 🤪😍 @adidasfootball gave us the opportunity to bring back the F50 and basically handed us a blank canvas. So what do you do? Make a 1:1 remake of an older colour way? Nah, you go Nerd Mode and cook up something special, so I sat down with some creative friends @martindyg @niclie and made this pretty wild mashup. Really proud of it.
2010 F50 adizero Chameleon Purple Sprintskin upper with the stupidly colourful (and slightly amended) arrow design from the 2nd generation Crazylight from 2014. X Ghosted+ outsole with the same sick colour shift as the Crazylight .”
