adidas Predator Mutator 20+ “Reuben Dangoor”

adidas has dropped their first ever artist collaboration on the Predator silo with help from Reuben Dangoor. The adidas Predator “Art” Artist pack, which includes these limited edition FG boots and two pairs of sneakers, features a unique set of colorful lines with an important message.

“The design came from wanting to put a twist on the signature three stripes. The concept was how sport can bring people together, celebrate diversity, inclusion and respect – so I added the hand gestures on the end to signify that. It grew from there.”

From a far, it looks like an array of colored lights beaming right across the upper and soleplate. But, as per designer Reuben Dangoor, those lines are actually elongated arms that showcase unity and appreciation for each other. It is a wild, vibrant and imaginative design that really compliments the Predator and what it represents.

As you’d expect, you still get all the performance benefits found on the Predator 20+ silo. There are still 406 spikes across the forefoot, with DEMONSKIN ready to take your game in a whole new direction. Always evolving, the new Predator 20 Mutator has been designed with maximum movement in mind.

The silo features new outsole enhancing control zones, while the addition of high-performance polyamide-injected layers help stabilize movement further. Underfoot, the footbed has a split-plate design and stud configuration that reduces weight, allowing for a 360 design where the upper material wraps under the foot. This construction, together with the Sockfit collar that locks down and adjusts to the unique contours of the wearer’s foot, ensures anatomical fit for added support.
