adidas today announced the arrival of their latest limited edition remake, with the Predator Mania being the focus boot this time around. Officially released as the Predator Mania “Tormentor” Remake, this one will bring back a lot of fond World Cup 2002 memories for those that watched the tournament in Japan/South Korea. Think of these matched up with the Japan kit at the time and you can see where they get their inspiration.
It was no secret over the past few weeks that these were on the way, with plenty of leaked images available if you wanted to see them. Still, seeing them actually released creates a more concrete feeling and continues the legacy of remakes that adidas has introduced as part of the silos 25th year anniversary.

The Predator Mania is boot that was built to break the rules, change the game, bend what was thought possible. With one of the most aggressive strike zones in the game, the Mania is the boot of choice for players everywhere looking for pinpoint accuracy, and the ability to bend the ball to fit any run on the field. The upper features a kangaroo leather for supreme fit and soft touch on the ball. Combined with a central lacing system and a fold over tongue that covers the laces, you get a boot that is ideal for controlling the ball. And everything comes together via the strike zone, featuring some of the most aggressive Predator elements ever put on a boot. They offer plenty of grip for bending and whipping long balls, free kicks, and just regular passes.
