Nike Tiempo Legend 8 Released

The latest edition of timeless comfort has arrived, with Nike dropping a completely re-engineered version of Tiempo Legend VIII. The eight generation of Tiempo features a timeless leather exterior that is combined with a highly modernized interior to deliver a technical beast of a boot!

So, what is familiar about the boot? Well, Nike has stuck with a premium leather that the Tiempo is famous for, while underfoot it retains the Hyperstability soleplate that has proved successful across recent Nike releases. The overall concept of the boot is kept pretty simple, but players can definitely expect a new level of performance from this generation of Tiempo.

And then there are the new pieces that make this a modern marvel:

• Nike Sport Research Lab data indicates that Flyknit hugging a boot’s arch makes a player feel more secure, so a new Flyknit Fit Tunnel was created for the Tiempo Legend 8 that provides a supportive, snug fit around the midfoot.
• This is complemented by Quadfit mesh in the forefoot that stretches in four directions to accommodate any foot shape, while simultaneously preventing overstretching of the outer leather layer.
• A stitchless quilted diamond pattern on the upper helps keep water and mud from seeping in, and avoids the tiny perforations to the leather that would occur in traditional stitching.

In terms of release colorways, Nike has gone with two versions; a clean white upper with silver detailing and a black with blue detailing. And in some more interesting news, the dazzle camo colorway that some of the world’s top players were testing in recent weeks will be released by popular demand! It will be limited edition and dropped at a later date. That is something to watch out for!
