That Choupo-Moting Miss and How It Happened!

Was it a glitch or simply user error? That is what most of us were asking after seeing Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting create what will forever be known as one of the greatest misses of all time on Sunday. I’m still baffled every time I watch it, wondering what he was thinking. And I’ve re-watched it at least 50 times at this point.

If there is anyone just as peeved as the PSG players were when it happened, it has to be PUMA. Choupo-Moting was wearing their latest PUMA ONE “Hacked Pack” boots during the game. He had actually got off to a great start, scoring in the 13th minute. But then it happened! Normally a brand would be ecstatic about their boots getting so much attention, especially when the boots catch your eye immediately in all images. But, in this case I’m pretty sure things might be a little different!

So, the explanation of the miss has to come down to one thing……the boot pack name!!! Obviously, Choupo-Moting was “hacked” with some sort of code that made him think he was actually a defender at that moment. I mean, it is the only logical explanation………right?!?
