Really important question for you guys; did you know there is a LEATHER version of the adidas Predator 18.1 available in the US right now? The answer from most of you is probably yes, and I’m sure there is a high percentage that have jumped on a pair. But given what they provide performance wise, and the fact they are available at a ridiculous sale price right now, they are absolutely worth highlighting!
There are 3 colorways available; White/Black/Infrared, Solar Yellow/Core Black/Solar Red, Black/White/Red. Each version mimics the corresponding synthetic Controlskin version, minus that dynamic tiered step design. You do, however, get the benefit of an ultra supple vamp that provides natural touch and feel on the ball that players love from a leather boot.
Even though there are three colorways available, they are still labelled as a special edition release here in the US. Up until a few months ago, there was no indication that adidas would bring any pairs stateside. But the obvious popularity in Europe persuaded adidas to at least try selling pairs here. Given the fact these are the boots usually reserved for and worn by pro players, it gives us an opportunity to own the very best that the Predator has on offer right now.
