Inspired by the first true special edition boot release in 2012, “Greenspeed”, Nike has created a limited-edition Mercurial GS360 in the original Volt and black colorway. This is a boot created with recycled materials, just like the original, reducing the carbon footprint associated. It makes them the “greenest” boot on the market, even the box is made of recycled cardboard.
The design is inspired by the current Mercurial silo, but it has its own unique elements. Instead of Flyknit, Nike use a more economical Circular knit material to wrap the midfoot and lock your foot 360 degrees. And the midcut collar has also been trimmed down, cut a little lower to provide a less intrusive fit around the ankle.
As a limited edition release, there are only 2018 pairs released worldwide, listed at $175.
Nike By You Mercurial GS
If you missed the initial release, Nike are also allowing fans the opportunity to customize their own pairs through “Nike By You.” Starting with either a flat or Safari-print template, you’ll have the option to pick the color of the toe box, upper, plate, and pick text and country flag details, to make your mark on the pitch.
This option will be available on 11/26!
Nice cleats. I really enjoyed reading through this article. I will definitely share it online.
