Earlier today, Kylian Mbappé dropped a first look at a soon to be released Special Edition Mercurial Superfly R9 on instagram. The image shows the new boots alongside his current Off White version, and gives fans a sneak peek at what is to come.
It is no surprise to see the 1998 R9 colorway wrapped around the current Superfly 360 Elite silhouette. It is one of the most iconic visuals in the boot world and I’m pretty confident there will be a lot of buzz around their release. It is very likely that we will see both Mbappé and Neymar finding their way into a pair each. And I’ve no doubt there will be a lot of you interested in finding out when they will be available to buy. As a special edition, they are likely to see out pretty quickly.
