Nike has definitely taken a new direction with the naming convention for their new collections. You have to be careful when it comes to the new FAST AF pack, since the AF stands for “audacious football.” Yes, Nike has controversially labeled a pack in the US as football rather than soccer, making us winder if they are trying to change the norm. Did you actually think AF stood for something else?
The Hypervenom, Magista and Tiempo series are all treated to the fresh new looks, with shades of black, gun metal grey and solar orange producing something that is familiar, yet a little different. You get the sense that Nike took some inspiration from the 2010 World Cup Elite pack, using solar orange as a contrasting force against a set of traditional black forefoot.
But note here that there is a boot missing from the line-up; Mercurial. With the next generation Mercurial due for release in early February, this pack offers a tease for what players can expect from the Nike’s newest speed boot!
