It’s Back – adidas Predator 18 Set For Release

It's Back Predator 2018

The news of an adidas Predator return is sure to be music to the ears of true fans who have missed the fabled silo since their “retirement” a few years back. Without the power focused silo on the market, there has been a distinct void. Well, the time is now right with the re-introduction of a more modernized 2018 addition set for this week, simply called the adidas Predator 18.

So, what is in store for the new silo?

adidas introduces a lot of sharp angles and elements through the upper, creating the power feature of the boot. Primeknit is set to be the material used through the upper, with a higher knit collar running in a distinct fashion around the ankle. The use of Primeknit also allows for a much softer feel on foot and more dynamic movement through the upper. It will definitely be a very different type of power boot, but one that will attract plenty of attention from fans.

Dele Alli adidas Predator 18

A host of pro players – Ivan Rakatic, Dele Alli, Zidane, Mats Hummels – have been wear testing blackout versions of the new Predator 18 series in recent months, both in a laced and laceless version. That would make this the first ever Predator release to feature no laces.

Stay tuned this week for release details – they will be available at soccer.com. Given this is set to be a pre-Christmas release, they are sure to sell really well so you will need to be ready to jump on a pair!
