adidas is back with a re-imagined version of one of the games iconic boots, again highlighting their ability to improve and enhance the game. The COPA 17 Red Limit is another boot introduced as part of the Limited Collection, taking the original Copa in a modern, direction with a fresh new colorway. As part of the collection, there is an On-pitch, cage and street version of COPA 17 released.
The COPA 17 Red Limit range features a premium K-leather upper to deliver unrivaled ball control, while a compression tongue and ortholite insole provide improved fit and optimal comfort. A lightweight SprintFrame outsole offers stability with round stud tips for smooth pitch penetration.
These boots are another example of adidas wild imagination and ability to craft specialized boots from concept. Visually, these boots are stunning, with the traditional K-Leather forefoot and stitching accentuated by a stunning red paint job. There have been several remakes of Copa through the years (including SL and Gloro versions) but these have the most realistic attributes to fit the follow-up mold.
Right now, the FG and TF versions can be found at soccer.com.
