If You Want A Pair of Nike Tiempo Pirlo…..

There seems to be some confusion surrounding the US release of the limited edition Nike Tiempo Pirlo, especially since Pirlo himself has been wearing them in MLS games already. Earlier today, they dropped and sold-out in the UK, on the date that Nike stated they would be released during their advertising campaign. BUT, that date doesn’t apply to the US market, and they have not yet been released here. This makes sense since they also haven’t been featured on the Nike app yet. If you are looking to secure a pair, no need to sweat as you haven’t missed out. Once we get a confirmed US release date we will update! We know for sure they will be available from soccer.com.

It is pretty easy to gauge how quickly a boot will sell depending on fan reaction; these boots have been elevated to “must have” right through social media. As you’d expect, there are plenty of special touches to this release. The boot’s upper features premium Alegria leather in a merlot colorway inspired by the juice of the grape. Similar to Pratum Coller’s logo (Pirlo’s family winery), four gold stars appear on the boot’s heel counter and plate to honor Italy’s World Cup titles. The Italian flag is also featured on the lace aglet. As a nod to Tiempo’s heritage and the process of producing wine, Aged Since ’94 appears in metallic gold on a genuine cork sockliner and also on the polka dot shoebox. The boots are packaged similar to a bottle of wine and include an additional performance sockliner.
