Breaking Down Each Boot in the Nike Tiempo Legends Premier Pack!

Tiempo Premier Legend Pack

If you haven’t heard, Nike are in the process of switching over to an all new version of the Tiempo Legend series. As part of that transition, they are treating fans to some very special releases in the form of a Tiempo Legends Premier Pack. Each of the five classic colorways is inspired by legendary Tiempo styles released over the past few years.

As popular as I have a feeling these will be, there is some bad news; they are not set to be released in the US. Yes, sadly we will not be treated to any of these exciting designs. What makes it tougher is that there has been a large fan base calling out for the release of a White Nike Premier boot. it is hear, but they are just out of reach.

Still, it is an unmistakable pack and we didn’t want to miss out on featuring them. Here we breakdown each of the five colorways…..just in case any of you decide to order from the UK!

Tiempo Legend Premier White Red

Colorway: Metallic Summit White/Team Red

The Story: We go right back to 2008 for this one, and the Nike Air Legend II. This bold combo hits on one of the most popular colorways in the series to date. The “est 1972” on the heel stamp references the year Nike was founded.

Tiempo Legend Premier White Blue

Colorway: Metallic Summit White/Blue Sapphire

The Story: You really can’t go wrong when you mix white and blue on a boot, and this one plays off the most iconic in the Nike Air Legend. That was a boot that took center stage when they were released in 2007, and out of this line-up it is the one we’d choose!

Tiempo Legend Premier Black Total Orange

Colorway: Black/White/Total Orange

The Story: If this one looks pretty similar, it is because it’s color comes from the 2011 Tiempo Legend IV Elite release. That was a boot that included premium technology like Flywire. This is obviously a much more simplified release, but it still features a striking remix.

Tiempo Legend Premier White Black

Colorway: Black/White

The Story: Taken from another of the Tiempo Legend IV Elite releases, there is a twist with this colorway. On the soleplate, Nike add a stripe design and “RGB 000,” the color code for black. It was a colorway first released in 2012.

Tiempo Legend Premier Black Electric

Colorway: Black/White/Electric Green

The Story: Of the 5 boots, this one takes it’s look from the most recent release – a December 2012 Tiempo Legend IV. It is a classic look with some extra pop thanks to that Electric Green highlight.

Nike Premier Story

From concept, Nike worked with the idea of creating a high performing, timeless classic that would be would be available to consumers for less than $100 (although they’ve already risen to $110) It is not directly implied, but the boot was intended to be a direct competitor to the Adidas Copa Mundial, with the more modern nature of the Premier giving it a fresh edge. Since, the Gloro has become it’s direct rival. Still, his is a boot that features a timeless inspired look with a whole lot of modern technology. (read review)

If anything changes and this Tiempo Legends Premier pack become available in the US, we will make sure to update. For now, there is the original Premier release that is available at soccer.com.

  1. Bryan– Might you have any idea(s) as to why the clash series one isn't on sale (even on the website)?
