Adidas “City Pack” Released – Reimagined For Cages and Courts

Adidas City Pack

adidas continue their football revolution today after announcing the all new “City Pack”.

The game changing X and ACE boots have now been re-imagined for the cages and courts of the cities where street football lives – with each city on the list receiving an X and Ace release. Every boot in the new line-up features a unique graphic that represents the cultural melting pot of these cities where the music, art, fashion and soccer scene is constantly changing the game.

Hackney in London, New York’s Brooklyn and the Berlin district of Kreuzberg have provided the inspiration for the adidas City Pack. Base colors inspired by concrete and asphalt give each shoe a unifying theme, with the bright pops of color representing the individuality of each of these iconic neighbourhoods, and the clash of styles and people that make them vibrant and diverse.

Unique graphics are also added along the inner heel lining and sockliner, with Brooklyn’s iconic brickwork apartments, London’s melting-pot high-rises, and Kreuzberg’s brutalist architecture providing the inspiration for each print.

ACE is re-equipped for games on any surface, with a hard-wearing upper offering playmaking that goes beyond a pitch. X players have new product features too, with new instep contact points increasing abrasion resistance, with the TechFit mid-cut collar offering lockdown fit to cause chaos on the court.

How To Differentiate the X and Ace?

Simple – the X has a diamond style paneling on the lateral side of the boot, whereas the Ace has the iconic adidas 3-stripe. You can also see a difference in the material through the forefoot, with the X featuring a smoother appearance compared to a more fabric style X design.

Availability – How To Get A Pair

If you are interested in a pair, they all retail at the same price ($139.99) and here is where you can find the entire City Pack Line-Up, available to purchase right now!

How well are these going to sell? Going off initial reaction and how stylish the designs are, I doubt these special edition boots will stay around too long. What do you guys think and have you got a favorite shoe from the entire line-up?
