Has Neymar Switched To Wearing Mercurial Vapors?

I’m not sure what was stranger tonight; Barca losing 4-1 to Celta Vigo or seeing Neymar wearing a pair of Nike Mercurial Vapors! It seems like the crafty Brazilian was in need of something just a little different and swapped out his Hypervenoms, of which he is a lead player, in favor of some Hyper Pink Vapors.

The reason? Nothing has officially been confirmed at this stage. Maybe he forgot his boots and borrowed a pair, or maybe he is looking to spice his game up with some fresh new explosive speed. We do know that he has worn Vapors in the past and there was a strong rumor floating around that he would be one of the lead players in the next generation Vapor. This could be a “tester” to see if he is ready to make the switch permanent.

If that is the case, it really isn’t a good sign for the Hypervenom seeing as Neymar is the key asset of the range. But in the Vapor he has a boot that fits his style and would offer him an extra level of dynamic explosiveness. It is a case of watch this space over the next few weeks as we wait to see what he does next!
