Adidas has introduced their latest X15.1 design, offering up what could be deemed to be the most dynamic colorway to date. Being that it is a relatively new range on the market, introducing a boot that features a reflective side panel is pretty bold. But, in similar fashion to everything out of the ordinary they have done of late, that is the dramatic route adidas has taken. And it is an effect that comes together very nicely.
Listed as an Iron Metallic/Black/Solar Yellow, the eagle-eyed boot fanatics out there will have spotted that they are an opposite colorway to the original released version. The difference on this version is that visually prominent silver layering across the midfoot X-cage system. It features a light speckled or spray painted style effect. What is extremely obvious is the fact it offers a pop that will make the boot stand out by day. At night, under lights, you will get a very different visual effect that will have fellow players taking a second look, wondering why they are seeing a light up effect.

The adidas X15.1 features several technical innovations, which all feature the letter X. There’s the reinforced X-Cage designed to keep the balance between a lightweight boot and one which offers the support a player needs on the pitch.
The boot also features the X-Skin synthetic upper which offers up a veritable triple threat of softness, fit, and ball grip, as the upper is the beneficiary of a treatment known as Non-Stop Grip (NSG) which aids ball control regardless of weather conditions. When it comes to traction you have the X-CLAW system sitting on the exoframe soleplate which is designed to offer grip on either artificial or firm ground pitches.
