Our friends over at the USA based Goalkeeper specialist Aviata today launch their latest color update in the popular Light Bright series, with this new version coming in a stand out Fluo-Vibe Pink/Light Bright Fluo Yellow/Cool Bright Blue/Black. Aviata has produced some extremely vibrant gloves in recent time, but these have to be the most standout glove so far! Plus, the word from goalkeepers who have tested them is that they don’t disappoint once on the hands.
Now for the tech specs – I’m sure you goalkeepers will understand this part a little more than I do! The Stretta Light Bright Goalkeeper Gloves feature a 3.5 Pure Touch Aqua Contact latex foam. The foam comes with a film that needs to be removed before use, this is a high quality foam made for use in the wet however can be used on dry days as long as the foam is kept damp during play. Aviata’s Hyper Control™ Cut gives the goalkeeper a better hand to ball contact across the fingers where the latex foam is spread and wrapped.
A nice feature of this glove has to be the new Aviata Contour stretch strap this gives for a greater wrist fit and also adds extra comfort. With 5 finger removable/optional EXO-SKEL protection this glove is suitable for every type of keeper.
Retail wise, they are a pretty solid $69.99 with sizes 7-11 available. Also, there is a Club version also released for an extremely affordable $29.99.
