With the colorful Samba release of the new Adidas adiPure 11Pro came questions from fans wondering if there would be a more familiar, traditional release coming soon. Well, here is your answer! Adidas has increased the value of the range with this toned down Black/Running White/Solar Slime colorway. Of course, the Slime detailing adds a bright pop, but the Black upper is sure to appease those with heritage taste buds.
Luckily, we have had the opportunity to test out the new 11Pro release, and there are certainly a lot of positives for players to take advantage of. The overall design, including cross stitching on the forefoot, takes the boot to a completely new level. Coupled with a new Comfort Frame and stud configuration, there is a definite level of comfort associated with them.
What it comes down to is this; the changes in the soleplate turn this boot from more a “graft” player option into more of a “craft” player option if that makes sense. Rather than being a boot geared toward the gritty, “get the job done” center mid, they are now more of a move the ball fast and create space boot.

From initial observation, this latest release has the appearance of the Nike Tiempo Legend in the Black/Electric Green/White colorway. Although the performance of both boots is very different, visually they are eerily similar from the laces right down to some additional detailing on the heel. Even the stitching on the forefoot looks familair, although don’t be fooled as the stitching on the 11Pro covers the entire forefoot compared to just the outer site of the Tiempo Legend.
