Nike Vapor IX vs Adidas F50 adiZero
Bryan: Nike Vapor IX – Both boots offer tremendous value for their purpose, but wearing the Vapor IX feels a lot more natural than the F50 adiZero.
Kevin: Nike Vapor IX – I’m not the biggest fan of either boots but I prefer the design of the Vapor’s.
Jim: Nike Vapor IX – Mostly just because the adizero hasn’t changed much since its first introduction. It also sits on my ankle while the vapor fits like a glove. As over rated as the Vapor is, it is still miles ahead of the adizero. No competition there.
Tyler: Nike Vapor IX – This was a hard one. I love Adidas as a brand but I feel that the F50 Adizero range has gotten a bit stale, whereas Nike has gone with some fresh colorways and made some great changes to the boot like the dimpled upper and a great FG stud configuration.
Colin: Adidas F50 adiZero – In this matchup of two kings in the lightweight boot category, my allegence lies with the Adidas F50 Adizero. The upper has a better texture, and the lightweight soleplate from Adidas is the best on the market.
Ethan: Adidas F50 adiZero – I have always found the adiZero to be very versatile and the leather version also offers decent comfort for weight. The external heel counter also secures the foot to lock down your heel and stop slippage.
Richard: Adidas F50 adiZero – Adidas in a walk. I’m a guy who doesn’t like bladed studs, so I certainly don’t like razor blade studs
Final Tally: Vapor 4 – F50 adiZero 3
Congrats! Great article!
Having worn both the Tiempo and the adiPure 11 Pro, I have to say that the adiPure 11Pro is a great boot.. I would never compare it to the Tiempo though. I am happy the Tiempo is around because it retains the slightly more classic feel. I like both boots and can't pick one over the other. But I would say the for people wanting a more classic feel, go for the Tiempo. If you want a blend between modern and classic, then go with the adiPure 11Pro.
Also, In the Warrior vs. Nike matchup, I would take the Warrior. I have worn both and the Skreamer really surprised me. Plus the customer service at Warrior was second to none, making Nike's look almost un-professional.
I had problems with the stud pressure in the Tiempo's as well, glad to hear I'm not alone on that.
Yeah at the front of my right foot was very uncomfortable. The left slightly uncomfortable as well. I was very disappointed with the Tiempo.
How about comparing the Nike Tiempo IV to my son’s favorite boot, the Umbro Speciali 4 Pro HG?
In an A v B matchup. I'd choose the Speciali, purely on Umbro's history. The boots are very similar so the nostalgic in me HAS to go with the Double Diamond.
Speciali 4 all day long!!
with veloce vs f 30, I would rather buy an old pair of top end shoes.
what shoes should I wear if I am playing on a land with no grass on it????
Either Turf, HG or AG boots depending on how the ground is.
