We now know that Robin van Persie has made the transition to the Adidas F50 adiZero, from the Adidas adiPower Predator. The Man Utd striker had been wearing the adiPower range for an extended period, so it made big news when he finally made the switch.

Today, we were introduced to a new customized version of the boot that takes into consideration the first pair of Adidas boots that RVP ever wore. His choice of upper is a leather and he has gone with a Vivid Red vamp with Dark Blue detailing and a white trim. The colors selected are somewhat influenced by the Dutch national colors, although the Red plays more to the Man Utd side of things! On the side, he has placed RVP 20 beside the Dutch flag.

The primary difference with these is his choice of outsole, and that is where does boots are a real custom edition. He sticks with the same configuration found on the adiPower Predator range, making this a definite one-off pair. Below is the first ever pair of Adidas boots that RVP actually wore – pretty sweet to still have your first pair!
