Reebok Instante Pro
Too big and bulky, with a very stiff plastic feeling upper.
Sadly, we have pretty much seen the demise of Reebok as a soccer shoe brand, with Ryan Giggs the final remaining player wearing the brand as an endorser. One of the last boots released was the Instante Pro, and I guess it explains just why the company ceases to create new boots. They were one of the toughest boots I have experienced break-in wise, with the upper and soleplate providing a stiff/bulky feel. At 11.4oz they were a definite contender as a power boot, but there was nothing special about the strikezone.
I had never heard of several of these, and that is probably for the best.
Funny how there are no adidas boots 😛
If you have a suggested Adidas boot that should be on the list, let us know which ones!
Adi5-xite. I have flat wide feet and they are some of the sloppiest turf boots i have ever worn. Nike has them beat hands down in 5aside turf boots.
F50+ tunits.
What a joke those were. They were so bad that even Messi switched to the drop down F30s.
The 7406 was horrible as well. Luckily, it lived a very short life as Adidas soon scrapped it for the original Adipure.
I also have a pair of eescord and i really like them a cheap speed boot that gives me a natural feel to the ball and especially when kicking the ball the only negative i can say about the boot is like any speed boot is that they dont last and are starting to lift a bit in the toe but for the price $30 for me was a bargain.
Honestly I see the superflys getting a lot of hate, and maybe its just because i have a smaller foot, but my CR7 Superfly III are my favorite boots. After 2 years the soleplate finally cracked a bit and I am wary about wearing them but I found them absolutely fantastic. My roommate that is also on my college team also has Superfly III and loves them as well
