Cleatology – Michael Parkhurst Signed Boots

One of the perks of running a site geared around boots is the fact that every now and again we end up getting unexpected pairs in the door. This week, I received a signed pair of Adidas F50 adiZero from a former teammate of mine, Michael Parkhurst. We played together for at NE Revolution. When he signed these boots, Parky was actually playing with FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark (the team that was in Chelsea’s Champions League group) but since then he has moved on thanks to some extremely impressive performances – currently playing with FC Augsburg in Germany as well as the USMNT.

Just to note, Parky actually wears Adidas Predator LZ, but this was an extra pair he had in his locker from earlier this season. If you want to know more about Parkhurst, check out this Q&A interview posted on USSoccer from this past Summer.

I’m excited to add these to a pretty awesome collection of important boots I have going – but since there are two boots, I am tempted to offer one up to a lucky reader.
