To go along with the Leather version, a pair of Synthetic Puma evoSPEED 1 arrived for testing. Just from first glance I can tell you that both are designed to offer completely different performance characteristics on the field, with the all around make-up of each both differing in many ways.
One aspect of the synthetic version that is pretty cool is the EverFitcage that sits inside the lining of the upper, designed to provide additional support and stability while allowing Puma to substantially reduce the overall weight of the boot.
The synthetic version retails for $184.99. See more images below……….
What is with the race car and the golf balls?
It's a nod to how Puma has also manufactured EvoSpeed shoes for Formula 1, golf, athletics and cricket.
what size did you order?
what is the "everfit cage" supposed to do ?
he'll talk about it in the review
Looks similar to the TPU bands that are inside the first adizeros; so essentially to provide additional internal stability.
Hows the sizing for these? And are they more for a wide or narrow foot?
medium to narrow. not for wide feet.
How do they compare in terms of sizing in relation to the v1.11? I wear a 9.5 in v1.11 and would like to purchase these.
