Although they are listed with Running Blue in their title, I think this latest release in the Adidas F50 adiZero range can be officially deemed a “Whiteout”! This is a clean and extremely slick looking release from Adidas that has plenty of fans drooling at the prospect of owning a pair. This is the first whiteout release we have seen this year and offers players something different to the Whiteout Leather F50 that was released last year.
Of course, they come with the slight challenge of keeping clean. You will have to work to keep them looking new for an extended period, but since they are synthetic some warm water and a rag should get the job done!
Retail wise, they hit the market with a $199.99 price-tag.
The upper of the F50 adiZero features SprintWeb, which is designed to add extra structure and support – resulting in a more protected boot for players. Through testing the F50 miCoach, I found that this new version has been updated in the right ways compared to the initial F50 adiZero release.
At 6oz, there is no doubting this lightweight release is designed for speed. And adding the concept of performance tracking makes these a very appealing release. The miCoach chip does a good job of capturing your data through play and the benefits of seeing how you performed can help you improve your game. It sits very comfortably in the cavity of the boot and you will have no idea it is there through wear.
Those cleats are absolutely stunning. Following the whole remake of earlier f50 thing, they should make another chamoleon pair.
Seriously. I have a pair of the chameleons, and they are in my opinion easily the best looking in the whole adizero range. i would definitely buy a pair if they went into production again.
