Nike has just unleashed a new range of colorways called the “Nike Clash Collection” that will be used by players in the 2012 Euro Championships this summer. Each striking color design stands out on pitch and delivers performance engineering for some of the best players in the world.
Nike’s Vapor VIII, CTR360 Maestri II, T90 Laser IV and Tiempo Legend IV boots will feature a color clash design of traditional white with a bold second color signifying each boots style to stand out on pitch. As reference, nothing has changed on the boot performance wise, they have simply undergone an upgraded paint job.
For those interested, each boot in the collection is currently listed and available to order on Soccer.com.
“The clash of traditional white with very modern and youthful colors will make a really powerful and disruptive statement on pitch,” said Andrew Caine, Nike Global Creative Director for Football Footwear. “The Nike Clash Collection delivers highly engineered boots with sharp color contrast reflecting the clash of rivalries and competition we will see this summer. We’re celebrating that with distinctive and stand out color.”
We will be highlighting each new colorway throughout this week, with the range set to officially debut by Nike players in the Champions League Final in Munich this weekend.
Why is the vapor's pink called red? If they were really red they would look a whole lot better.
No the vapors for EC12 have a leather like upper, something like KL I guess. Look up close up images
Bryan! Is it true these vapors have a leathery synthetic? Please answer
As per the text in the image above, it is a Suede Teijen Microfiber upper.
On soccerbible it said they had a more leather upper so I’m guessing it is a thin KL tiejin synthetic upper
Really wish I could still purchase. Anyone know of anywhere still selling Clash Collection Nike Vapor VIII?
Your best bet is to check ebay.com If they are going to show up again, it will be on there!
