There has been plenty of movement from Umbro in recent week, and one of their latest colorway releases in the popular GT2 Pro series comes in this White/Black/Vivid. In terms of crisp summer looks, this is about as fresh as you can get! As with all GT releases, the primary upper colors fade into each other, producing a pretty unmistakeable look. Currently, I putting a pair of the Black/Acid Green colorway through testing, so stay tuned for a review in the coming weeks.
Having seen plenty of success with the initial GT Pro release, this upgraded version comes in at a lighter weight thanks in part to a Japanese micro-fiber upper. Picking up on a Nike strategy, Umbro has also trimmed the FG version even further by including hollowed out blades. They currently retail for $115 at Soccer.com.
In fact, at 8.8oz this is the lightest boot Umbro has ever released! The subtle asymmetric, partially concealed lacing provides a larger strike zone. There has been plenty of hype behind this release, with plenty of initial reports comparing them to some of the best speed boots on the market – only time (and a review) will tell!
The GT2 Pro has a pretty tidy retail price of $150, leaving them at a much more affordable price point than other top tier speed boots on the market..
the umbro gt2 pro has alot of nice colorways, this being 1 of them
